Aufgaben
- Develop a digital eye twin that models the post-surgical changes in the eye, from a biomechanical point of view

Evaluate simulation results against alternative modeling approaches and/or real experimental data

Report and present your results

Work closely with experts in biomechanical simulation and digital eye twin concept

Work with other students, as well as researchers and engineers in a collaborative environment at the newly built ZEISS Innovation Hub Karlsruhe, right on site of the KIT-campus north
Profil

You are enrolled in a Bachelor/Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (preferably), Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable

You have basic knowledge of structural mechanics concepts and finite element method

You have basic knowledge of the following programming languages: Python, C++

Experience with Ansys and contact modeling is a plus

Fluent English language skills

A hands-on mentality, an open mind, excellent problem-solving, communication and innovation skills
